Catharsis 21 - April
i had a lotta fun doing my catharsis last month... i think i might actually start doing this every month now... just so there's a brief review of how i'm feeling hehe here we go...

7 random things in 7 days
it's been more than a week since i last blogged and 'cause i'm too lazy to write a whole long essay about what i've done in the last week, i'm gonna type 7 random things i did in the last 7 days...
1. Wed 9th April ~ i arrived at uni b4 the library even opened [after 3ish yrs at uni, i now know that the SS&H library opens at 8am hehe]... i know it's probably not that hard a feat for most pplz to be at uni that early but considering i could've slept in instead... i think it's dedication to the max!! [even though i skipped a tute =P]
2. Thurs 10th April ~ i skipped my Property tute [okies, i was desperate to find a random thing i did this day hehe]
3. Fri 11th April ~ i played Guitar Freaks on Wii for the first time ever!! i can see why pplz like the game... i'm not very good at the game but at least i won when i played hehe
4. Sat 12th April ~ i got carried uphill from the carpark of Sun Fay restaurant to the entrance of the HJ's carpark... it wasn't all that far but i totally respect u John for being able to carry someone as heavy as me =P
5. Sun 13th April ~ i played Hold'em Bonus Poker and Caribbean Stud Poker for the first time at the casino and it was awesome!! i won a grand total of $125 that nite ^___^
6. Mon 14th April ~ had a bit of a deja vu 'cause i was hanging out with exactly the same pplz as last Mon and we were doing pretty much exactly the same thing...
7. Tues 15th April ~ scored a free drink during poker w00t w00t something the bartender made which included lemon lime bitters, red cordial and squash i think hehe very sweet and i think it got me and Ketty quite high hehe
hopefully i'll be in the mood to post something longer next time =P

OMG... I'm turning into a shark...
i know it's still early days and the new season's only just begun but despite my constant denial that i'm a poker shark, i think my current stats r showing otherwise... btw, i'm only posting these stats up 'cause i don't think i'll ever be venue leader again plus i think i'm only doing well 'cause it's a new venue for me =P and another note... why the hell is this season the 4th quarter of 2007 when clearly, we're more than a 1/4 of the way into 2008?!

Adventures of the Black Widow
the Easter holz came and went faster than i thought... time surely does fly when u're having fun hehe to recap on what i wanted to do...
1. study for my PSYC2010 exam since the exam is on the first day back from holz
2. start [and hopefully finish] research for my LAWS3113 assignment
3. pay off my layby
4. go to the Andy Warhol exhibition and see what all the hype is about
5. get my hair cut and coloured
6. catch up with my girlfriends hopefully [if they're all free!!]
7. clean up my room
i only did 1, 4 and 6 >_<" maybe i was aiming too high when i decided i wanted to do all those things hehe my last few days of mid-sem holz were awesome!! in short...
1. i went to Cam's 21st and drank a little, played poker a little, ate a little and met some new pplz... i think his party was the one with the most alcoholic drinks and the least food hehe it was all good though... had a lotta fun and it gave me an excuse to drive for the first time this yr... thanks so much Ketty for letting me drive ur car and for trusting me with ur car and ur life hehe
2. i went to gym for the first time in 2 weeks... Cardio Funk rocks even if i look unco doing the moves!!!
3. i went to Andy Warhol with CC and i enjoyed every moment... made the most of all the interactive activities there... we both had our 15 secs of fame, played with cloud balloons and took lotsa photos hehe my personal fave...
4. i caught up with my girls throughout the week... whether we drank every alcoholic drink that wasn't beer, ate yummy chicken salad sandwiches, celebrated b'days, ate dinner on a budget, sang karaoke or stayed up all nite D&Ming, gossiping about guys or playing word games, i loved every single min with u all!! u girls r my angels =)
5. went to Lan's 21st which was the last of my 4 consecutive 21sts on a Sat nite... Lan, if u're reading this, i'm so, so sorry that i was so late to ur party... the food was really nice and the b'day cake was absolutely divine!! thanks for inviting me and i hope u liked all ur pressies!! and u looked absolutely beautiful... ur dress was so nice =)
in case u're wondering where the "black widow" thing came from, it's a nickname i got while i was playing APL poker last yr... at first, i thought of the nickname as a bit of a joke seeing as i've beaten quite a few guys at poker [no, i'm not implying that i'm a shark =P] and i wear black a lot but after thinking about it a bit more, i'm starting to believe there's a deeper meaning behind this name...
i had other things to blog about but maybe i'll save it for next time...
